Description
Corydalis solida Beth Evans is a beautiful clump forming, tuberous, herbaceous perennial, with grey-green, divided foliage and tubular pink flowers with a white flash on the spur. The flowers are produced in an erect raceme in spring contrasting well with the attractive foliage which dies down late spring to early summer when the plant enters dormancy. The flower colour will vary seasonally with the deepest colour being produced after a hard winter. A beautiful plant for rock gardens and growing in pots providing interest early in the year.
A hardy plant which should survive normal winter conditions outside, especially with protection from the hardest frosts. If grown in pots it is recommended to place in a sheltered position for the winter.
