Description
Erysimum Bowles Mauve is an easy to grow, compact, bushy plant for larger rock gardens, borders and planters. It is an early flowering hardy wallflower with fragrant, mauve flowers from May to July & beyond. In truth, they will flower for most of the year and often well into Autumn/Winter. Unlike traditional wallflowers it is perennial, not biennial although they are short-lived in ideal conditions the will grow for 5 or more years.
A hardy plant which should survive normal winter conditions outside, especially in well drained soil with protection from winter wet. If grown in pots it is recommended to place in a sheltered position for the winter.
Supplied in a 9cm square pot.
