Description
A trailing, sometimes woody-based deciduous perennial succulent. The purple-flushed stems bear rounded to spoon-shaped or ovate, grey-green leaves which can also be purple-flushed. From mid summer into early autumn it bears terminal clusters of star-shaped, bright pink flowers which not only look great, they are also very attractive to pollinators and late-flying butterflies, making it a good addition to the wildlife garden.
An excellent talking point plant for pots, alpine beds, rockeries, front of borders, etc. Sedum cauticola ‘Coca-Cola’ also makes an excellent specimen plant for the show bench if grown in a terracotta pot topped with contrasting grit. It is, therefore, a must have for all alpine / succulent collections.
