Description
Sedum reflexum is a hardy, mat-forming alpine plant native to the UK and other parts of Europe. It is fast-growing and makes a good lawn alternative, providing dense, albeit less robust ground cover.
In the summer months it produces lemon yellow coloured flowers that are nectar and pollen rich and therefore attractive to pollinating insects. It also looks great combined with other plants that enjoy growing in free-draining soils, like sempervivums and other hardy sedums. Excellent for alpine beds, rockeries, walls, rooves, groundcover.
For best results, grow Sedum reflexum in full sun in well-drained soil. It needs very little pruning or aftercare.
