Description

Potentilla nepalensis ‘Helen Jane’ is a beautiful new semi-dwarf cultivar which grows 30 to 45cm (12 to 18in) tall. The leaves resemble those of a strawberry plant and form compact clumps. The bright pink flowers have a crimson centre and the petals are attractively crinkled resembling like crepe paper.

They grow well in sun or light shade, in any reasonable soil which is not too wet. Flowering over a long period, new buds open repeatedly in a long succession, from late June to September. Helen Jane is an excellent addition to the cottage garden and grows well along the edge of paths or towards the front of borders.
