Description
Corydalis flexuosa Blue Panda has been recently introduced and adds welcome colour from March to June. The attractive, feathery blue-green foliage often has purple markings. In mid spring masses of light blue flowers appear held above the foliage. It is a great plant for the front of borders, large rock gardens and moist areas at the edge of woodland where it gets dappled shade. In the summer it can become dormant, especially in hot, dry years before appearing again in the winter or spring.
A hardy plant which should survive normal winter conditions outside, especially with protection from the hardest frosts. If grown in pots it is recommended to place in a sheltered position for the winter.
