Description

Sisyrinchium Californicum is a compact, clump forming, semi-evergreen plant with bright yellow flowers and word-like leaves. It flowers from spring right through to autumn. Easy to grow in a sunny, moist position with good drainage. Will remain evergreen through out mild UK winters but may become deciduous during cold winters, returning again in spring. Prefers a well drained position in full sun.

Good in rockeries, troughs, pots and the front of borders.

A hardy plant which should survive normal winter conditions outside, especially with protection from the hardest frosts. If grown in pots it is recommended to place in a sheltered position for the winter.
