Description
Armeria pseudarmeria Ballerina Red is a beautiful large alpine plant with broad, evergreen leaves. The bright red, ball shaped flowers are carried on compact stiff stems from Spring to Summer and are very attractive to pollinating insects. It thrives on most soil types, especially poor, well drained soil in exposed conditions. It is an excellent plant for rockeries, path edges, etc as well as for pot culture in alpine houses. Makes an excellent plant for the show-bench.
A hardy plant which should survive normal winter conditions outside, especially in well drained soil with protection from winter wet. If grown in pots it is recommended to place in a sheltered position for the winter.
Supplied in a 9cm round pot.
