Description

This beautiful small, hardy shrub forms a much branching, small shrub with small leaves. White & Pink, nectar rich flowers are borne throughout the summer and autumn. The long flowering season and bi-colour flowers means Salvia Pink Lips deserves a place in every garden. In milder areas it is evergreen but will become deciduous in colder regions. It is hardy to -15°C so in the coldest areas some protection is recommended. It is native to limestone canyons in Texas and New Mexico and in Mexico and beyond. Despite this, it grows well in most locations (avoid winter wet) and soil types.

It adds late summer and autumn interest to patio areas when grown in pots where the flowers and fragrant foliage can be fully enjoyed.
