Description
Aubretia Dr Mules Variegata is best grown in well-drained, moisture retentive soil in full sun. It is an ideal plant for dry areas such as chalky slopes and growing on walls where it will cascade down them. It forms a mat of small mid green leaves with a creamy white border and small purple-blue flowers from early spring into the summer. Although it prefers full sun it can tolerate partial shade. Being hardy and evergreen it is a useful container plant for spring colour.
It is an excellent plant for rock gardens, walls, softening the edge of paths and the front of borders.
